CivEs take over STEPS

With the last few weeks of the semester quickly passing by, the CivE class of 2014 is trying to finish up their Capstone projects. Featured in this blog post is ASCE’s President and my homie, Alex Azero. As you can see, he’s just as thrilled as I am to be combining every single element of civil engineering we’ve learned in the last four years into one project. Don’t get me wrong, it’s actually fun once you get some correct data, but up until then, you are kinda just walking in an endless abyss of logic.

Right now, we’re at the stage where things are (for the most part) coming together. Next Friday, our 90% submission is due, where 90% of the project work must be completed. Although it seems a bit early, it will be nice to have the majority of the project done before the end-of-semester chaos sets in (spring fever being the leading cause of this chaos). Until then, senior CivEs like me and Alex (among many others), will be taking over the main labs of Fritz and STEPS!

About lusamantha14

I am currently a senior at Lehigh University pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. My blog this semester will be about my last undergraduate year at Lehigh: academics, social events & unexpected day to day occurrences. I'm really excited to share my thoughts, stories, and advice with anyone reading, since I know that all students go through very similar experiences. I can't wait to explore all of the opportunities that the field of Civil Engineering has to offer & I'm excited to live out my last year at Lehigh to the fullest! View all posts by lusamantha14
