Summer Internship

Over winter break, I had a few interviews with engineering companies in the area. One of them was PPL, which is located in Allentown. I had been really interested in PPL since September when I talked to a representative at the career fair. I was so excited when I got an email saying that they wanted to set up a phone screen with me. I thought the phone screen went really well and it seemed like they really liked me. Turns out that I was right! Within the next week, they offered me an internship position! I sent in my official acceptance and official transcript right away. As of last week, I am officially cleared to work there (they had to do a background check etc). They will be in touch with me early next month to determine an official start date! 🙂

About lukatie15

Hi! I'm Katie. I am a junior here at Lehigh and I am double majoring in Civil Engineering and Architecture. This Arts-Engineering program is a five year program where I will graduate with two degrees. I am from Quakertown, Pennsylvania, and I am one of the few commuting students at Lehigh. Despite of this, I am the Vice President of the Steel Bridge Team, and I played club rugby. Additionally, I do kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at a local martial arts gym. If you have any questions about anything at all, please don't hesitate to ask! View all posts by lukatie15
