As an officer of the ASCE student chapter at Lehigh, I had to help put together a report covering all of the club’s activities from the past year. The national society requires every university chapter to submit a report under strict formatting guidelines. Looking at the 40+ page template was daunting at first. Luckily though, we were very organized throughout the year and were able to complete each field of the report with little trouble. The four of us on the board split up the sections and met two or three times to put everything together. I worked on the future goals we are targeting for this year as well as explaining the service projects (Habitat for Humanity and a Food Drive) we undertook. The final draft was 34 pages long, so I’m sure you can see why I’m glad it is finished.

The ASCE Annual Report
Hey! I'm Karl, a civil engineer in my senior year at Lehigh University. I am from the Buffalo/Western New York area and am the president of the American Society of Civil Engineers on campus. I am also on the Running Club team, practice electric and classical guitar, and study music theory on my own. I enjoy playing and watching sports with my friends in my free time (or the times when I probably should be studying). View all posts by lukarl15
