Back to School

Billy MadisonOn the first day of every semester, the Back to School song from Billy Madison plays through my head over and over. Going back to school is definitely bittersweet. I really enjoyed being on break. I got to spend a lot of time with my friends and family, relax, read, and do things that I usually can’t because of homework. But, going back to school means that I get to learn more things, I get to see my Lehigh friends again, and I’ll be closer to getting my degrees. I’m hoping for another great semester. Last semester, although the most challenging yet BY FAR, was really successful, and I got my best GPA so far! 😀 By the end of last semester, I was feeling drained and exhausted from classes, and I really couldn’t wait to be done. Getting awesome grades and having a month off of school (which was very much needed since I took classes all summer while working full time) put the wind back in my sails, and I feel rejuvenated. I’m ready to kick another semester’s butt!!!!

About lukatie15

Hi! I'm Katie. I am a junior here at Lehigh and I am double majoring in Civil Engineering and Architecture. This Arts-Engineering program is a five year program where I will graduate with two degrees. I am from Quakertown, Pennsylvania, and I am one of the few commuting students at Lehigh. Despite of this, I am the Vice President of the Steel Bridge Team, and I played club rugby. Additionally, I do kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at a local martial arts gym. If you have any questions about anything at all, please don't hesitate to ask! View all posts by lukatie15
