On Tuesday night, I was inducted into Tau Beta Pi. Tau Beta Pi is the engineering honors society, which is nationally known. The top eight of the junior class and top fifth of the senior class are invited to join. Induction was cool and really official. There weren’t many people there, maybe 25 inductees, and only Tau Beta Pi members were welcome to attend. Of the 25ish inductees, only 6 of us were girls. Big surprise there. I can’t tell you any more about induction because I was sworn to secrecy. I’m honored to be a member. It’s definitely an awesome accomplishment!

Tau Beta Pi Induction
Hi! I'm Katie. I am a junior here at Lehigh and I am double majoring in Civil Engineering and Architecture. This Arts-Engineering program is a five year program where I will graduate with two degrees. I am from Quakertown, Pennsylvania, and I am one of the few commuting students at Lehigh. Despite of this, I am the Vice President of the Steel Bridge Team, and I played club rugby. Additionally, I do kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at a local martial arts gym. If you have any questions about anything at all, please don't hesitate to ask! View all posts by lukatie15
