Happy Monday! Today is a gorgeous day on campus & the weather is perfect for fall. Above is just a picture I found of Packard Lab, home to the MechE’s and EE’s.
This week, all tests are over and the business has calmed down a bit, which gives me time to study for my FE Exam (awesome…..). Today I have a few classes and two meetings for Engineers Without Borders. For EWB this week, we will be finalizing the travel group who will be going to Nicaragua in January to assess the project we will be working on. In addition to finalizing the group, we will be watching the midterm presentations for the project class. The project class is comprised of ~30 students who are divided into groups; each group works on a specific project of the technical nature (e.g. solar cookers, water purification system, well design) Tomorrow, these teams will be presenting their progress to the executive board and the faculty advisors for EWB.
Towards the end of the week, I will be going home Thursday afternoon in preparation for the FE Exam. Since it is already Monday, I feel like I have enough perseverance to keep studying every day since this will all be over on Saturday!
