Wow. Whoever said junior year is the hardest wasn’t kidding. The first third of the semester has flown by. I feel like we just started two weeks ago. But, nope! Here we are getting ready for exams already! I’ve been so busy this semester. First of all, I have a tough course load. The two hardest/most time consuming classes are Structural Analysis 1 and my first architecture studio. The assignments are always due on the same day, so I’ll work on structures for hours, then I’ll go use the other side of my brain and make architecture models. Not an easy task all the time. Secondly, I’m Vice President for Steel Bridge this year, so I’ve been doing a lot for that. Thirdly, I’m going to be working in the wood shop and metal shop this semester also, as if I needed more to do. Oh and to top it all off, I’m starting to have interviews etc. to worry about as well. Anytime I finish one thing, I turn around and another thing needs to be done. Let’s hope I don’t go crazy before December!

Is there ever a break?
Hi! I'm Katie. I am a junior here at Lehigh and I am double majoring in Civil Engineering and Architecture. This Arts-Engineering program is a five year program where I will graduate with two degrees. I am from Quakertown, Pennsylvania, and I am one of the few commuting students at Lehigh. Despite of this, I am the Vice President of the Steel Bridge Team, and I played club rugby. Additionally, I do kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at a local martial arts gym. If you have any questions about anything at all, please don't hesitate to ask! View all posts by lukatie15
